Description
PoolLab 2.0 digital pool water tester
The PoolLab 2.0 digital pool water tester is a portable multi parameter photometer for professional quality water analysis in private and commercial pools and spas.
With a fixed but exchangeable triple cuvette, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and a large colour display, the tester measures up to three parameters in parallel and
stores all results in the LabCom app and cloud for full water treatment traceability.
Main features of the PoolLab 2.0
- Measures up to three water parameters in parallel in a triple cuvette.
- Supports up to 24 pool parameters with tablet, liquid and powder reagents.
- Four wavelengths (460, 525, 590 and 625 nm) for precise photometric measurements.
- Integrated Bluetooth and WiFi for connection to the free LabCom software, app and cloud.
- Large backlit 2.4 inch colour display with intuitive menu navigation.
- IP68 waterproof housing for direct sampling in the pool or spa.
- Nine direct access keys for zero setting and the most common test parameters.
- Exchangeable triple cuvette for easy cleaning and long term use.
Water parameters and measurement capability
The PoolLab 2.0 digital pool water tester can analyse up to 24 different parameters relevant to pool and spa water, depending on the reagents used.
This allows a complete picture of water balance, disinfection and potential contamination.
- Disinfection: free, combined and total chlorine, bromine, active oxygen, ozone and chlorine dioxide.
- Balance: pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, total hardness and cyanuric acid (stabiliser).
- Additional parameters: hydrogen peroxide, PHMB, phosphate, urea, ammonium, nitrate, nitrite and more depending on reagent kit.
Thanks to the triple cuvette design you can test, for example, pH, free chlorine and cyanuric acid at the same time, which saves time and supports
consistent water management.
Connectivity, app and cloud functions
The PoolLab 2.0 has Bluetooth and WiFi built in so that all measurements can be stored and managed digitally.
The free LabCom app and software synchronise with the LabCom cloud, keeping your data available on smartphone, tablet and computer.
- Automatic synchronisation of results via WiFi to the LabCom cloud when a network is available.
- Bluetooth connection to the LabCom app for local data transfer and configuration.
- Assignment of test results to specific pools or sampling points created by the user.
- Calculation of active chlorine and LSI index in the LabCom software and app.
- Dosage recommendations based on measured values and registered treatment products.
- Report and logbook functions for professional pool service and documentation.
Kit contents and practical details
The standard PoolLab 2.0 kit includes everything needed to start testing pool water as soon as the device is unpacked.
- PoolLab 2.0 photometer with IP68 waterproof housing.
- Triple measuring cuvette (exchangeable) and light protection cover.
- Stirring rods, 10 ml syringe and storage pouch.
- Three AA batteries for mobile operation.
- Starter reagent tablets set for the most common parameters (depending on kit variant).
- Printed user manual and free access to LabCom app, software and cloud.
Use and maintenance in daily pool care
Using the PoolLab 2.0 digital pool water tester is straightforward.
You dip the tester into the water to fill the cuvette, add the specific reagent, dissolve it and start the measurement with the corresponding key.
- Rinse the cuvette with sample water before each test to avoid contamination.
- Use only the recommended reagents and follow the method specified in the manual.
- Shield the cuvette from direct sunlight with the light protection cover during measurement.
- After testing, rinse the cuvette and cover with fresh water and dry gently.
- Inspect the cuvette regularly and replace it if it becomes scratched, cloudy or damaged.
With regular testing and correct interpretation in the LabCom app, the PoolLab 2.0 helps to maintain stable and safe pool water with clear guidance on
chemical dosing and water balance correction.
