Description

Blue Fit 50 adapter for 50 mm pipe

The Blue Fit 50 adapter for 50 mm pipe (reference 7015C002) is a drilling saddle that allows you to install the Blue Connect smart water analyser
directly on rigid 50 mm pool pipework in the technical room. Instead of letting the probe float in the pool, you mount it in line so it takes
continuous measurements on filtered water under stable flow conditions.

Function of the Blue Fit 50 adapter

  • Creates a solid and secure mounting point for the Blue Connect analyser on 50 mm PVC pipe.
  • Allows permanent installation in the technical room instead of floating in the pool.
  • Improves measurement stability by exposing the probe to constant flow and temperature.
  • Prevents interference from the pool cover and reduces the risk of theft or damage.
  • Ideal for both residential pools and pools managed remotely via the Blue Connect app.

Technical details

  • Product name: Blue Fit 50 adapter for 50 mm pipe.
  • Manufacturer reference: 7015C002.
  • Type: Drilling saddle and clamp for rigid PVC pipe.
  • Pipe diameter: 50 mm rigid pipe in the technical room.
  • Typical material: Polypropylene clamp with sealing gasket and stainless steel screws.
  • Connection for analyser: Threaded port designed for the Blue Connect body.
  • Compatible devices: Blue Connect and Blue Connect Plus smart analysers and equivalent branded versions.

Installation and compatibility

The Blue Fit 50 adapter is intended for use on rigid PVC return lines with an external diameter of 50 mm. It can be installed on most standard
filtration systems where there is a straight pipe section available in the technical room.

  • Compatible with Blue Connect analysers supplied by brands such as Gre, Astralpool and Blueriiot that use the same thread.
  • Mounted on 50 mm rigid PVC pipe after the filter and before dosing injection points where possible.
  • Suitable for fresh water and saltwater pools, provided that the analyser itself is compatible.
  • Not suitable for flexible hose or pipe diameters other than 50 mm.

Always check that your Blue Connect model is designed to be used with the Blue Fit 50 accessory and that you have a straight length of
pipe with enough space for the clamp, drilling and threading operation.

Step by step installation overview

  • Switch off the filtration pump and secure the system so that it cannot start during installation.
  • Select a straight section of 50 mm rigid PVC pipe in the return line, ideally after the filter.
  • Mark the drilling point according to the template supplied with the Blue Fit 50 adapter.
  • Drill the pipe carefully to the specified diameter and remove all plastic swarf from inside the pipe.
  • Place the sealing gasket on the saddle, position the adapter around the pipe and fit the clamp halves together.
  • Tighten the screws evenly so the gasket seals all around the drilled hole without deforming the pipe.
  • Screw the Blue Connect analyser into the threaded port, respecting the manufacturerโ€™s torque and sealing instructions.

After installation, slowly restart the filtration pump and check the adapter for leaks. Once watertight, follow the analyser instructions
to activate, calibrate and connect it to the mobile app.

When to use the Blue Fit 50 adapter

  • When you prefer fixed installation of the Blue Connect in the technical room instead of floating in the pool.
  • When a pool cover or slatted cover prevents correct floating and communication of the analyser.
  • When you want more stable and repeatable measurements on filtered water flow.
  • When you want to protect the analyser against accidental impacts, vandalism or theft.

Maintenance and safety tips

  • Inspect the clamp and screws at the start of each season and retighten gently if necessary.
  • Regularly check for traces of moisture around the saddle that could indicate a slow leak.
  • Follow the analyser manufacturerโ€™s instructions for removing and cleaning the sensor from the Blue Fit 50 adapter.
  • Do not use aggressive tools or chemicals on the clamp body or gasket to avoid damage.
  • Always depressurise the line and switch off the pump before removing the analyser from the saddle.

With a correctly installed Blue Fit 50 adapter 7015C002 on 50 mm pipework, the Blue Connect analyser becomes part of the fixed technical
installation, delivering reliable online readings while staying protected from the conditions in the pool itself.
