The Blue Lagoon Dosatech dosing pump is a compact peristaltic pump designed for accurate liquid dosing in the piping system of a swimming pool.
It is ideal for adding flocculant, sodium bicarbonate or other liquid treatment products in small, controlled quantities, so that the water quality
remains stable without manual dosing work.

Control and dosing options
The Blue Lagoon Dosatech uses a three button controller with a clear display, which allows the user to set the dosing time per cycle and the
number of cycles per day. Dosing is time based and not based on measured water values, which makes the pump very predictable and suitable for
applications where a fixed quantity of product is required at regular intervals.
The pump can be used in automatic mode with programmed cycles spread over the day or in a more manual configuration where dosing is started
on demand. This makes the Dosatech suitable for continuous fine dosing of flocculant or for regular addition of products such as liquid
cover or buffering agents.
Installation and hydraulic connection
- Mount the pump on a stable vertical surface close to the pool pipework and power supply.
- Connect the suction hose to the chemical container using the supplied suction fitting with foot valve.
- Connect the injection hose to the return line of the pool installation with the supplied injection nipple.
- Ensure that the injection point is downstream of filters and other equipment according to local guidelines.
- Prime the pump and hose according to the manufacturer instructions before starting normal operation.
Thanks to the compact design and supplied fittings, the Blue Lagoon Dosatech can be integrated easily into existing plant rooms and
combined with Blue Lagoon UV-C treatment units to build a complete, automated water treatment system.
Operation, maintenance and replacement parts
For reliable performance the neoprene hose and the pump head should be inspected at regular service intervals. Wear of the hose is normal
for peristaltic pumps and can be recognised by reduced dosing accuracy or visible deformation. When required, the pump head and hose can
be replaced with dedicated Blue Lagoon spare parts such as the replacement pump head and dosing pump replacement set specified for the
Dosatech model.
- Check the suction and injection lines frequently for air ingress or blockages.
- Inspect the hose visually and replace it when signs of wear, cracking or flattening appear.
- Rinse the external surfaces if product is spilled and keep the unit free from chemical deposits.
- Follow the recommended maintenance intervals in the technical documentation for optimal lifetime.
